The Dark Store Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse and fulfillment operations while ensuring exceptional customer experience through operational excellence.
Key Responsibilitie
s Operations Managemen
t Manage daily dark store operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch . Ensure timely order fulfillment and adherence to delivery SLAs . Monitor order flow and optimize operational efficiency . Drive process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational bottlenecks. Inventory & Quality Contro
l Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits . Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and inventory hygiene . Minimize shrinkage, damages, expiries, and stock discrepancies . Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment requirements. Team Leadershi
p Lead, train, and manage store associates, pickers, and packers . Prepare shift rosters and manpower plans . Track team performance and drive productivity improvements . Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellence. Performance & Complianc
e Track KPIs including order accuracy, fulfillment time, inventory accuracy, and productivity . Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and compliance requirements . Maintain cleanliness, security, and operational readiness of the dark store . Prepare operational reports and share performance insights with leadership.
Requiremen ts3–6 years of experience in warehouse, retail, quick commerce, logistics, or dark store operation s. Experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational environmen t. Strong understanding of inventory management and fulfillment processe s. Proficiency with WMS, inventory tools, Excel, and operational dashboard s. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skill s. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays when require
d.
Preferred Qualificati ons Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related fie ld. Experience in quick-commerce, e-commerce fulfillment, or grocery operatio ns. Familiarity with SLA-driven fulfillment environmen
