Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Candidates must have 2-3 years of experience in the specialty. Must be able to read and interpret telemetry.

Special Requests: Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Holiday RTO will be considered, however it cannot be guaranteed.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule. Holidays are worked into the permanent staff rotation.

Floating Requirements: First to float; may float to Telemetry at a 1:4 ratio and between Med-Surg floors.

Unit Details: Portable telemetry boxes may be used as needed. Hospitalist coverage is in house 24/7; respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7; there is no IV team. The unit has no ventilated patients. Common diagnoses include hips, knees, shoulders, and spine; there are no drips.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
