The Role
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will serve as both a scrub nurse and circulating nurse within a modern orthopedic surgery center dedicated exclusively to musculoskeletal care. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and fellow nurses to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered perioperative care. In this role, you will:
Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing orthopedic surgical procedures.
Function in both scrub and circulating nurse capacities.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary surgical team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Support advanced orthopedic procedures, including robotic-assisted surgery .
Assist with patient assessment, preparation, intraoperative care, and recovery support.
Deliver care in a high-quality specialty environment focused on efficiency, safety, and patient experience.

Total Joint Replacement Surgery
Sports Medicine
Hand Surgery
Foot Surgery
Ankle Surgery
Orthopedic Robotics
This position offers a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) and outstanding work-life balance with no nights, no call, no weekends and no holidays.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
