We are looking to add a Technical Program Manager for Embedded Software to our growing Device Engineering organization. As a Technical Program Manager, you will drive the evolution of our embedded software platform and development processes across our device portfolio. The ideal candidate should have both embedded systems technical depth and solid program management experience, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure products meet the highest quality standards.RESPONSIBILITIESWork closely with hardware, software, quality, and product teams to understand embedded software requirements and development challengesPrioritize and manage embedded software development roadmaps, balancing feature delivery with technical debt and platform improvementsDrive the end-to-end embedded software development lifecycle - from requirements gathering and architecture planning to integration testing and deploymentMaintain and improve embedded software development processes, tools, and documentation for engineering teamsChampion enhancements to our embedded software architecture and coordinate releases across multiple device platformsManage partnerships with vendors and stay up to date with their technology roadmaps for SoCs and embedded solutionsOther duties as assignedREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience8+ years of total experience varying between embedded software engineering and technical program managementPrevious experience managing embedded software product lifecycle and development processesPrevious professional working experience as a Software Engineer, Hardware Engineer, or Program/Project Manager with an engineering teamStrong quantitative, analytical xzbcwsv and critical thinking abilities with embedded systems focusAbility to manage multiple embedded software projects across different device platforms simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentNICE TO HAVES:Experience with C/C++ programming and debuggingExperience with Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)Experience with embedded software build systems and toolchainsExperience with hardware-software integration and debuggingExperience with the Atlassian Suite for project managementFamiliarity with containerization technologies and CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems
