Position Type: Full-TimeSalary Range: $55,000–$60,000 annuallyAbout the RoleAlexandria Communications is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Videographer & Content Creator to join our growing team!We're looking for someone with a strong eye for aesthetics, an understanding of social media trends, and the ability to bring creative ideas to life through high-quality video content.This role combines videography, content creation, creative direction, and editing. You'll work with a variety of clients across industries, including interior design, lifestyle, beauty, medical aesthetics, and more.ResponsibilitiesAttend on-location client shoots throughout Bergen County, NJ, and surrounding areas.Film high-quality video content using professional camera equipment and iPhones.Provide creative direction during shoots, including shot composition, angles, lighting, and overall visual storytelling.Collaborate on content concepts, filming ideas, and creative strategies for clients.Edit engaging, polished short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social media platforms.Edit content directly on a phone using mobile editing apps.Stay up to date on social media trends, transitions, editing techniques, and emerging content styles.Organize and manage footage to ensure an efficient editing workflow.Maintain a consistent, elevated visual aesthetic tailored to each client's brand.Work collaboratively with our team to meet content deadlines and deliver high-quality work.QualificationsExperience in videography, video editing, and social media content creation.Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, and short-form video trends.Comfortable filming with both professional cameras and iPhones.Proficiency in mobile video editing apps such as Splice, CapCut or similar platforms.Experience with professional editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, is a plus.Preferred experience with the Sony Alpha 7 IV full-frame mirrorless camera.Strong creative eye for composition, lighting, movement, and visual storytelling.Ability to independently direct shoots and confidently guide clients on camera.Highly organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple projects.Ability to take creative feedback and make revisions efficiently.Must have reliable transportation and be available for in-person client shoots throughout Bergen County and surrounding areas.How to ApplyPlease send your resume and portfolio, including examples of video content you've filmed and edited, to A portfolio is required to be considered for this position. xzbcwsv Applicants should include examples of both professional camera work and iPhone-created content, particularly short-form videos and Instagram Reels.
