Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and customer-focused Optometrist to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive eye examinations, prescribe corrective lenses, advise patients on eye health, and deliver high-quality vision care services.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using appropriate clinical equipment. Assess visual acuity and diagnose common vision conditions. Prescribe spectacles and contact lenses based on patient needs. Provide professional advice on eye care, lens options, and vision correction. Detect signs of ocular diseases and refer patients to ophthalmologists when appropriate. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. Educate patients on eye health and preventive care. Work collaboratively with the retail and clinical teams to deliver excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with Singapore healthcare regulations and professional standards.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Optometry or an equivalent recognized qualification. Eligible for registration and practice as an Optometrist in Singapore, where required. Strong clinical assessment and communication skills. Customer-oriented with a professional and compassionate approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in an optical clinic or retail environment is an advantage.
