ABOUT THE ROLE

Sheenlac Paints is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant with a strong factory accounting background to take ownership of cost control, standard costing, and variance analysis across our manufacturing operations. If you love digging into production numbers and turning data into decisions, this role is built for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own and control factory costs — identify inefficiencies and drive savings across production Establish and maintain standard costing for all raw materials and finished goods Track actual vs. standard costs and deliver clear, actionable variance reports to management Collaborate closely with the procurement team on material sourcing and cost reduction initiatives Monitor inventory movements and ensure accurate costing in the system Support monthly MIS reporting with cost-specific insights

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Solid factory/manufacturing accounting background — you understand the cost drivers on the floor Expertise in standard costing, BOM analysis, and variance reporting SAP experience (mandatory) — comfortable pulling and analyzing cost data Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for cost modelling Collaborative mindset — able to work across finance, procurement, and production teams Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
