The staff architect reports to the Job Captain and Project Manager of each group. They will be required to follow schedules and complete construction documents in collaboration with their project team.
Responsibilities and FunctionsCreate and make revisions for daily designs and technical development of assigned projectsAssist Job Captain and Project Manager in setting and meeting quality standards for design, technical and financial performances and effective client communicationsFunction as LDI client advocateInsure quality of design process: planning solutions, Construction Documents and Construction AdministrationAssist in implementation of the Project Manager plan to insure adherence to schedule and budget.Maintain CAD efficiencyAssist in coordination of the deliverables of the Working DrawingsEnsure accuracy in all communications with LDI’s clientsPromote effective client communicationsEnsure all deadlines are met as specified by project manager; and if necessary give adequate notice if issues are unresolvedMust have a general understanding of codes and handicap issues. xzbcwsv Attend meetings as the Project Manager deems necessary.Other duties as may be assigned by LDI.
QualificationsA degree in architecture or related fieldA minimum of 3 years of experienceStrong AutoCAD and REVIT proficiencyGood communication- verbal, oral and writtenExperience with building type: ResidentialAble to work effectively in a team environment and on their own
