Job Description
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience in Production / Fabrication in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on exposure to heavy fabrication, welding, painting and machine shop processes .
- Experience in shop floor production management and manpower handling.
- Exposure to contract manpower management and production planning.
- Good knowledge of quality, productivity and safety standards .
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in Kaizen and continuous improvement .
- Ability to coordinate with Quality, PPC, Maintenance and SCM teams.
ROLE HIGHLIGHTS
- Ensure availability of materials for smooth production operations.
- Ensure zero repetitive issues by identifying root causes and implementing necessary countermeasures/rework in coordination with Quality.
- Develop and implement Jigs, Fixtures and Poka-Yoke for standardization and faster production.
- Drive productivity, quality and cost improvement on the shop floor.
- Monitor daily production targets, manpower utilization and process efficiency.
- Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives .
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality and production standards .
Experience: 4+ Years
Preferred Background: Heavy Fabrication / Welding / Automotive / Engineering Manufacturing
