Freelance Video Editor

We are looking for a Freelance Video Editor to work with our team on content for our brands Unstumbled and Unsobered.

The role will involve editing content across Instagram and You Tube , primarily focused on food, travel, alcohol, lifestyle and infotainment.

Key Responsibilities:
Edit short-form videos, including Instagram Reels and You Tube Shorts.
Edit long-form content for You Tube.
Create engaging edits with strong pacing, storytelling and visual appeal.
Add transitions, text, graphics, sound effects and music as required.
Adapt content to different social media formats and platforms.
Work closely with the content and creative teams to understand the brief and deliver edits within timelines.
Incorporate feedback and make revisions as required.
Stay updated with current social media video trends and editing styles.

Requirements:
Prior experience in video editing, preferably for digital/social media content.
Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing and composition.
Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve or equivalent.
Good understanding of Instagram and You Tube formats.
Ability to work independently and deliver within agreed timelines.
A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating relevant work.
