Managing high-risk loans in a full-time remote capacity, the High Risk Loan Specialist will analyze defaulted loans, recommend financial strategies, and coordinate with various departments to mitigate losses and recover funds efficiently. Key responsibilities: Review and analyze vacant FHA and VA loans for disposition decisions prior to foreclosure sales Research high-risk circumstances and develop recommendations for charge-off approvals and strategies Maintain and update the Disposition Model based on corporate initiatives and observed trends Required qualifications: Strong understanding of FHA, VA, and GSE claims guidelines High School Graduate/GED required; 2 to 4 years of related experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving
