Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech (Mechanical/Product Design or related discipline)
Experience: 3–7 Years
Nilkamal Edge is looking for a talented Executive – Design (Healthcare) to join our Design & Development team.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop innovative healthcare products using Solid Works. Create 3 D models, 2 D manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation. Perform design calculations, feasibility studies, and material selection. Apply GD& T, DFM, and DFA principles to optimize product design and manufacturability. Support prototype development, product testing, validation, and production handover. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Sales to ensure successful product development. Maintain PLM documentation and process SKU/code creation. Support product costing, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives. Review customer specifications and tender requirements to recommend effective technical solutions.Desired Candidate Profile
3–7 years of experience in Mechanical/Product Design and Development.
Strong proficiency in Solid Works (mandatory).
Experience in preparing manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
Working knowledge of GD& T, DFM, DFA, and product validation processes.
Experience in medical furniture, healthcare equipment, modular furniture, office furniture, or manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.
