Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

The Licensed Veterinary Technician plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting veterinarians, and creating a calm, supportive experience for both pets and their people. Requirements  

• Active Veterinary Technician License (state-appropriate) 

• Prior veterinary technician experience  

• Weekend availability is required  

• Strong commitment to compassionate, empathetic patient and client care 

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining grace under pressure 

Key Responsibilities  

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures 

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospitalized and surgical patients 

• Collect and process laboratory samples 

• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as directed 

• Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery 

• Educate and communicate with clients in a clear, empathetic, and supportive manner 

• Maintain accurate medical records 

• Uphold hospital protocols, safety standards, and ethical practices 

• Contribute positively to a respectful, team-centered workplace culture
