Salmon is currently seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team.

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Houston, TX

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary

Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits

Essential Functions:

Coordinate multi-discipline engineering and design activities

Communicate with clients and third parties regarding project scope, status, and technical interface issues.

Provide concise, factual project designs, allowing effective construction/installation

Work with other engineers, designers, construction QA/QC, and contractor

Check drawings and calculations.

Visit client sites to evaluate the site, project requirements, and conditions.

Requirements:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

5 - 15 years of mechanical engineering experience.

2+ years of project engineer experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.

Attention to detail.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Experience Preferred:

Professional Engineering license.

Previous plant facilities experience preferred.

Previous experience in oil & gas industry.
