Our client, a leader in the elevator industry, is seeking a Field Manager – Repair to oversee day-to-day repair operations across the Miami market. In this role, you'll work closely with field mechanics, customers, sales partners, and branch leadership to keep repair projects moving efficiently while supporting safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Success in this position requires someone who can balance field leadership, scheduling, labor resources, and operational priorities while keeping projects on track and teams performing effectively.

What You'll Own:Lead Repair Operations: Oversee day-to-day field activity across assigned repair projects, balancing scheduling, labor resources, safety, quality, and customer commitments.Coach & Develop Field Teams: Conduct jobsite visits, troubleshoot issues, provide coaching, and support mechanics in completing repair work safely and efficiently.Manage Scheduling & Backlog: Review repair backlogs, coordinate manpower and material needs, and work with internal teams to keep projects on schedule.Drive Project Performance: Monitor repair schedules, labor utilization, project costs, and financial performance to identify issues, improve productivity, and support profitability.Strengthen Customer Relationships: Help resolve customer concerns, communicate project updates, and ensure repair work meets customer expectations.Partner Across the Business: Collaborate with sales, operations, and branch leadership on repair opportunities, project scopes, estimates, scheduling, and customer solutions.Maintain Safety & Quality: Reinforce safety expectations, conduct jobsite inspections, participate in training, and ensure repair work meets company and industry standards.Manage Technical & Material Needs: Identify parts, materials, equipment, and technical support needed to minimize delays and keep repair projects on track.
What You'll Bring to the Team:Field Leadership Experience: 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in elevator repair, construction, technical field service, or a similar environment, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on leadership experience.Operational Management: Background coordinating field teams, managing project schedules, allocating resources, and driving operational and financial performance.Technical Aptitude: Comfort working with mechanical and electrical systems, technical equipment, jobsite conditions, blueprints, and technical documentation.Problem-Solving & Judgment: Confidence managing competing priorities, making decisions, and resolving technical or operational issues in a fast-paced field environment.Communication & Collaboration: Ability to coach field employees, work with customers and internal teams, and communicate effectively across the organization.
