Role Description The Associate Professor of Computer Science will be a full-time, on-site faculty member based at the Warangal campus. This role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer science and related areas, designing and updating curricula, and mentoring students through academic advising, projects, and research supervision. The Associate Professor will conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in reputable venues, and pursue external funding where appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lectures and course materials, assessing student performance, participating in departmental and university committees, and contributing to program development and accreditation activities. The role also involves engaging with industry and academic partners to enhance learning experiences and promote collaborative initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in core Computer Science concepts and ability to teach a range of computer science courses. Proficiency in Programming and software development, with experience in one or more modern programming languages. Expertise or demonstrated interest in Data Science, including data analysis, machine learning, or related methodologies. Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing course content, learning outcomes, and assessment strategies. Relevant doctoral degree (Ph. D. or equivalent) in Computer Science or a closely related field. Evidence of scholarly research, publications, or ongoing research projects in computer science or related domains. Effective teaching skills, with the ability to use inclusive and student-centered pedagogical methods. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse academic environment. Prior university-level teaching experience and experience supervising student projects or theses are highly beneficial.Compensation: 15,00,000 to 25,00,000 Rupees Per Annum.
