Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role will support month-end close with journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation and a commitment to accuracy.

Duties

• Perform account reconciliations including balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Record journal entries, accruals, to close the month.
• Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks
• File sales and use tax reports.
• Communicate with property to track jobs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Experience can substitute for Education.
• Experience with financial accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting concepts.
• Proficiency with financial software such QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, and Microsoft Office Suite. Should be comfortable in Excel
• Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations accurately.
