Failure Analysis Engineer

The Failure Analysis Engineer III will investigate PCB failures, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions across manufacturing and field returns. This role works closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and analysis technicians to improve product reliability and manufacturing performance.

ResponsibilitiesAnalyze top PCB failure modes across product lines and identify root causesCollaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to implement corrective actionsProvide failure analysis findings to Manufacturing Engineering and update the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)Support troubleshooting and analysis of field-returned productsDevelop Pareto charts, yield reports, and other tools to identify quality trendsDevelop analysis tools and troubleshooting procedures for new productsCreate fault tree analysis flowcharts and troubleshooting guidesSupport the training and development of analysis technicians
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field5+ years of experience with PCB failure analysis, testing, or test solutionsStrong knowledge of PCB test methods, including In-Circuit, Functional, Embedded, and System-Level testing xzbcwsv Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including SMT and Quality AssuranceExperience with failure analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsExperience with Pareto analysis, yield reporting, and defect trackingFamiliarity with troubleshooting equipment, procedures, and methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
Pay Rate: $45-60/hr
