About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Quality Control Manager with a background in Electronics Engineering and Instrumentation, along with working knowledge of mechanical systems related to electronic products.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Electronic Weighing Scales and Measurement Instruments and exposure to both electronic and mechanical quality control processes. The role involves leading and managing the entire Quality Control Department (Incoming, In-Process & Finished Goods) to ensure products meet defined standards of quality, reliability, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and control complete QC department operations. Ensure manufactured products comply with internal quality standards and customer specifications. Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Control processes and procedures. Establish internal and external quality standards aligned with customer expectations. Define and implement inspection criteria and documentation systems. Handle customer complaints and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA). Conduct Root Cause Analysis using Why-Why Analysis and 7 QC Tools. Prepare and present Monthly Quality MIS reports to top management. Conduct Internal and External Quality Audits. Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Sales, Service, and R& D departments. Support Purchase in new vendor development from a quality perspective. Conduct Annual Vendor Evaluations and performance rating. Ensure smooth project handover from R& D to Production. Escalate critical quality issues to Factory Management when required. Oversee team performance reviews (Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly / Annual). Ensure compliance with company quality policies and procedures.

Required Technical Skills

Electronics (Approx. 80%)

Strong knowledge of Electronics Manufacturing Processes Hands-on experience in Electronic Weighing Scales / Measurement Instruments Good understanding of: PCB assemblies Calibration processes Instrumentation systems Testing & inspection standards Strong exposure to CAPA, 7 QC Tools & Quality Systems Experience in vendor quality management Knowledge of ISO Quality Standards preferred

⚙ Mechanical (Approx. 20%)

Basic to intermediate understanding of mechanical components used in electronic products Knowledge of mechanical assemblies, sheet metal parts, enclosures, and structural components Understanding of dimensional inspection tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.) Familiarity with mechanical tolerances, fits, and GD& T basics Awareness of fabrication processes, machining, and surface finishing Ability to evaluate mechanical vendor quality and inspection reports
