• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification , recognized and registered with PM&DC.
• PM&DC-recognized Level-III postgraduate qualification in ENT/Otorhinolaryngology , such as FCPS, MS, MD , or another equivalent Level-III qualification in the relevant specialty approved by the PM&DC/SRC.
• Valid PM&DC registration .

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in the relevant specialty ENT/Otorhinolaryngology at a PM&DC-recognized teaching institution.
• Teaching experience should be appropriately recognized/certified in accordance with PM&DC requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, clinical supervision, and academic administration.
• At least 9 research publications in the relevant subject, including 7 publications earned during the Assistant Professor level, in accordance with the applicable PMDC criteria.

Job Description

• Advanced Clinical Leadership: Provide expert clinical care and oversee complex case management.
• Academic Leadership & Teaching: Lead teaching programs and mentor faculty, residents, and students.
• Research Supervision: Supervise research projects, theses, and ensure quality publications as per PMDC standards.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to curriculum planning, review, and innovation.
• Departmental Oversight: Assist in managing departmental clinical and academic functions.
• Specialized Procedures: Perform and oversee advanced specialty-specific procedures.
• Examinations & Assessments: Serve as examiner and evaluator in professional examinations.
• Quality Assurance & Accreditation: Participate in institutional accreditation and quality assurance processes.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Foster collaboration across departments for patient care and research at the clinical and administrative levels.
• Policy Implementation: Support implementation of institutional policies and clinical protocols.
• Mentorship & Faculty Development: Guide junior faculty in teaching, research, and clinical work.
• General Responsibility: Any other task assigned by the management.
