Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Intellectual Property Associate to join their trademark, copyright, advertising, and media practice in Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to engage in both counseling and prosecution matters, as well as contentious issues in courts and before relevant boards and divisions.
DutiesHandle trademark, copyright, and advertising issues.Engage in counseling and prosecution matters.Participate in contentious matters in courts and before relevant boards.
Requirements2-5 years of experience in trademark law.Experience with copyright, advertising, licensing, sweepstakes, and privacy matters is a plus.Excellent academic credentials.Strong written and oral communication skills.Collaborative and motivated with a client-focused approach.
EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree.
CertificationsBar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
