Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA)

This facility is seeking a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 10 hour shifts, 4 days a week. No nights. No weekends - day off depends on operational need
• Practice Setting: In-Patient and Out-Patient
• Types of Cases: The provider will manage new patient consults, pre-operative evaluations, History & Physicals, inpatient rounding, surgical assisting, discharges, and post-operative follow-ups across both the clinic and hospital settings. Experience with spine surgery patients and inpatient neurosurgical care is highly preferred.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner
• Certifications Required: Must be National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), must have Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensure Required: Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)
