Senior AI Engineer sought to join a small, exceptionally fast-moving engineering team building an AI-native consumer platform. There is a salary up to $500K + equity on offer here, so we are only interesting in exceptional candidates with a genuine production AI development backgrund.

Backed by a major global technology group, this is an opportunity to own production AI systems from architecture through to deployment. As a Senior AI Engineer, you'll build the conversational intelligence behind a product that understands user preferences, retrieves relevant information and takes real-world actions. You'll own agent orchestration, tool calling, conversational memory and multi-step reasoning.
We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer with:4+ years in backend or full-stack engineering with hands-on LLM product development.Experience shipping LLM-powered ranking, retrieval or recommendation systems into production.A background building consumer-facing (B2C) products is essential - not just internal tools or enterprise applications.Strong applied AI experience across prompting, embeddings, RAG, agent memory and personalisation.Practical experience building evaluation frameworks and debugging ranking or retrieval failures in production.Experience with TypeScript or Python and AI-assisted development workflows.The ability to move quickly, make architectural decisions and take ownership without layers of management.
