Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead and manage the overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) function for a large-scale Data Center Project in Vizag. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing quality systems, construction quality, inspections, testing, documentation, and coordination with consultants, clients, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall QA/QC activities for the Data Center project.
• Develop, implement, and monitor the project Quality Management Plan, ITPs, method statements, and inspection procedures .
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and project quality requirements.
• Manage inspection and testing activities for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works .
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams on quality-related matters.
• Review and approve quality documentation, inspection reports, test reports, material approvals, and quality records.
• Monitor and close NCRs, observations, punch points, and corrective/preventive actions .
• Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and quality reviews across the project.
• Ensure proper implementation of ITPs, checklists, testing & commissioning procedures, and quality standards .
• Identify potential quality risks and implement preventive measures to minimize rework and quality issues.
• Lead and mentor the project QA/QC team and ensure effective deployment of quality resources.
• Monitor subcontractor quality performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain complete and accurate quality documentation and project handover records .
• Participate in client/consultant meetings and provide regular quality performance reports to project management.

Key Requirements

• 20–25 years of overall experience in construction QA/QC.
• Strong experience in Data Center projects is highly preferred.
• Experience handling large-scale building / high-rise / critical infrastructure projects .
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems, inspection procedures, ITPs, method statements, NCR management, and quality documentation.
• Experience in coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams .
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of applicable construction codes, standards, specifications, and testing requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Education

BE/B.Tech/Diploma – Civil Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with proven experience in large-scale Data Center projects and strong exposure to end-to-end project quality management will be preferred.
