Role Summary

Conduct audits for the region as per defined timelines to ensure compliance to policies, procedures and regulations . Verify whether the internal controls of stores and warehouses are as per SOP.

Key Responsibilities

Process Compliance / Audits

• Review SOP’s of stores and warehouses and come up with any changes (if required)
• Find out any statutory non-compliance and highlight the same on a timely basis.
• Continuously monitor and ensure compliance of SOPs across all stores & warehouses
• Perform procedural audit at stores to verify process flows of various activities like cash transactions, credit card transactions, gift vouchers, credit notes, inventory, HR etc as per the plan.
• Perform procedural audits at warehouses for various activities like tracking delays in material goods received notes, SGRN, price revision, (downward/upward), returnable gate pass, ageing etc.
• Perform audits as per plan and ensure compliance to the same
• Follow-up with auditee to ensure all the non-compliance identified during audit are remediated.

Documentation / Analysis

• Reports consolidation & MIS creation
• Assist in the preparation of SAD Audit
• Preparation of audit report and presenting the same to the Auditee.
• Perform MIS analysis of reversal and exchanges, damaged stock, negative stock and verify if the same is as per SOP.
• Liaison with External Audit firm and ensure completion of audit and releasing of reports on a timely basis.
• Consolidate store audit/ warehouse audit reports to highlight the variance and escalate the same to regional Commercial and Corporate IA teams.

Experience & Qualification:

• 2+ years of experience in handling end to end Internal audits & process audits.
• Experience in revenue audits, P2P, R2R, Hire to Retire Audits is advisable
• Retail industry knowledge is preferred
• CA/ICWA/MBA Finance background candidates preferred
