The Kasper Group is currently seeking an Assistant designer. Design Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:• Assist designers with seasonal development support• Create flat sketches under direction of design team• Prepare presentation boards and CAD updates• Track and organize samples• Assist with showroom preparation• Update design trackers and development charts• Maintain fabric and trim libraries• Assist with swatch cards and color organization• Support proto tracking and sample organization• Conduct basic trend and competitive research• Assist with sample room coordination• Support administrative design tasks as neededQualifications:• Design degree preferred• 0–2 years experience• Illustrator proficiency required• Strong organization skills• Ability to work in fast paced environment
