Business Development Executive

ZEV Point is looking for a Business Development Executive to drive the growth of its EV Charging business across India.

The role will involve identifying new business opportunities, developing channel and customer relationships, generating enquiries, and converting them into DC charging projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales of EV chargers across India.
• Identify and build relationships with EV charging operators (CPOs), dealerships, fleet operators, hotels, commercial establishments, highway operators, EPC companies and other businesses.
• Generate new business through direct outreach, networking, channel partners and market development.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable EV charging solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial offers and drive them through to closure.
• Develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospective EV charging projects.
• Build and expand a network of dealers, resellers and installation/EPC partners.
• Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Track market trends, competitors, pricing and emerging opportunities in the EV charging industry.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and contribute to the expansion of ZEV Point's EV charging business.

Expectations

• Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or channel sales.
• Experience in EV, electrical equipment, solar, industrial equipment, infrastructure or similar sectors is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to independently identify prospects and convert them into customers.
• Commercially driven and comfortable working with sales targets.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and EV charging is an advantage.
