In-House Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable In-House Accountant to manage the financial operations of our architectural and interior design practice. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, project-based financial tracking, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
• Manage day-to-day accounting entries (receipts, payments, journal entries)
• Reconcile bank statements and cash flows regularly
• Maintain ledgers, balance sheets, and financial reports

2. Project-Based Financial Tracking

• Track project-wise budgets, expenses, and profitability
• Monitor client payments, advances, and outstanding dues
• Align vendor payments with project cash flows and timelines
• Assist in preparing project estimates and cost reports

3. Billing & Invoicing

• Generate client invoices as per milestones and agreements
• Follow up on receivables and ensure timely collections
• Coordinate with the design and execution team for billing inputs

4. Vendor & Contractor Payments

• Manage vendor invoices, verification, and payment scheduling
• Maintain records of all contractor and supplier transactions
• Ensure proper documentation for all purchases and expenses

5. Compliance & Taxation

• Handle GST filings, TDS deductions, and statutory compliance
• Coordinate with external CA for audits and filings
• Ensure all financial records are audit-ready and compliant

6. Financial Planning & Reporting

• Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow statements
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
• Provide insights on cost control and financial efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience (preferably in architecture/interior/design or construction industry)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks)
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation norms
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Experience working with project-based businesses (interiors, construction, real estate)
• Strong coordination skills with vendors and internal teams
• Proactive approach to financial tracking and reporting
