This role will focus on lighting design, power distribution, fire alarm systems, engineering calculations, and project support. What You'll Do
Perform electrical engineering design and evaluations for building projectsDesign lighting systems and perform photometric analysisDesign power distribution systems, including panel selectionPerform electrical calculations, including short-circuit analysis and building power load calculationsAssist with energy code compliance calculationsAnalyze existing electrical systems for buildingsPrepare drawings and layouts using Revit and AutoCADReview change orders and provide project engineering supportSupport project managers and teams with RFIs and submittalsPrepare technical construction specificationsParticipate in site visits and inspectionsAssist with preliminary design, budget analysis, equipment selection, and life-cycle cost analysisWork with project teams to develop practical, detailed electrical design solutions
What's RequiredEngineering degree OR 3+ years of electrical design experience2+ years of lighting design experienceExperience with AutoCAD and RevitKnowledge of building electrical systems and designStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively with project teams
