We are looking HoD Mathematics for a reputed CBSE School in Hyderabad. <br /><strong>Role Description </strong> The Head of Department (HoD) Mathematics for a reputed CBSE School , it is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for leading the Mathematics department, including planning curricula, setting academic standards, and ensuring alignment with school-wide learning objectives. The HoD will supervise and mentor Mathematics teachers, observe classroom teaching, provide feedback, and organize subject-specific training and professional development. Day-to-day tasks include designing assessments, analyzing student performance data, coordinating lesson planning, and implementing strategies to improve learning outcomes. The role also involves collaborating with school leadership on academic policies, engaging with parents and guardians when needed, and contributing to the continuous improvement of teaching resources and methodologies.<br /><strong>Qualifications<br /></strong> <br /><ul><li>Strong subject-matter expertise in school-level Mathematics, with a solid understanding of pedagogy and curriculum design. </li><li>Experience in academic leadership, such as heading a department, grade-level coordination, or mentoring a team of teachers. </li><li>Proficiency in classroom management, student assessment, and use of data to drive instructional improvement. </li><li>Ability to design and deliver teacher training, workshops, and ongoing professional development programs. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school leadership, students, and families. </li><li>Comfort with educational technology and digital tools to support teaching, learning, and assessment. </li><li>Relevant academic qualification in Mathematics or Education (e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field); formal teacher training or B.Ed. is preferred. </li><li>Prior experience teaching Mathematics in K–12 schools; experience in CBSE, ICSE, or international curricula is an advantage. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, learner-centered practices and continuous professional growth. </li> </ul>
