Your Role:As an Area Coordinator of Residential Life, you will be at the heart of this incredible community, helping NSU students become their best selves. You'll lead, inspire, and guide our dedicated support staff to create an environment that encourages self-discipline, self-governance, and respect for individual rights. We're all about empowering individual assertiveness.
What You'll Do:Lead & Mentor: You'll supervise our fantastic undergraduate student staff, helping them grow and excel in their roles.Build Community: Host engaging weekly community staff meetings, fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.Keep Things Running Smoothly: You'll handle the administrative side of things, from preparing weekly reports to managing key inventories, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

Your Background:To thrive in this role, you'll need:A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four years experience in higher education, -OR-A Master's degree and a minimum of two years experience in higher education.Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role.Experience in serving on an on-call rotation and/or crisis response rotation.
