Build Meaningful Client Connections as a Veterinary Receptionist in Fort Worth:

Ridglea West Animal Hospital is seeking a warm, organized, pet-loving Veterinary Receptionist to become a trusted first point of contact for our clients and patients. Also known as a Veterinary Client Service Representative, Veterinary CSR, or Veterinary Front Desk Coordinator, this in-person role gives you the opportunity to make every visit feel welcoming, informed, and compassionate. You will join a family-owned hospital where your communication skills, love of animals, and attention to detail directly support exceptional patient care.

What You Will Do:

• Welcome pet owners and their animals with professionalism, empathy, and a calm presence in a busy veterinary hospital setting.
• Schedule appointments, answer multi-line phone calls, manage client questions, and help keep daily patient flow organized and efficient.
• Gather accurate client and patient information, process payments, explain estimates and policies, and maintain clear veterinary medical records.
• Support client education by reinforcing preventive care recommendations, medication instructions, wellness needs, and follow-up plans provided by the veterinary team.
• Work closely with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and veterinary assistants to coordinate care for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, and pocket pets.
• Assist with animal handling, restraint, kennel duties, and other patient-care support tasks when needed, always prioritizing animal welfare and safety.

What You Will Bring:

• You bring strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to create reassuring experiences for pet owners during both routine and urgent visits.
• You are comfortable in a fast-paced veterinary, medical, hospitality, or client-facing environment and can confidently manage changing priorities.
• You demonstrate compassion, sound judgment, and professionalism when working with animals, clients, and teammates.
• You have excellent organization and accuracy skills for scheduling, payment processing, phone communication, and recordkeeping.
• You are able to work in person in Fort Worth, Texas, and are comfortable supporting safe animal handling and basic clinic operations.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist, veterinary assistant, animal care attendant, client service representative, or front desk professional is valued.
• Experience with Aviamrk software is highly vauled. 
• Knowledge of small animal care, preventive care, Fear Free practices, dog behavior, anesthesia monitoring, digital radiography, heartworm testing, or fecal analysis is welcomed.

Compensation and Benefits:

Earn $15 to $17 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Eligible team members enjoy health insurance, a 401(k), flexible schedules, tuition reimbursement, holiday pay, and paid time off.
