Audit Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Execute statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audit assignments.
• Verify financial statements, books of accounts, and supporting documents.
• Prepare audit working papers and maintain audit documentation.
• Perform ledger scrutiny, account reconciliations, and analytical reviews.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with clients for data collection and resolution of audit queries.
• Support senior team members in completing audit assignments within prescribed timelines.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

Eligibility

• Graduate or CA Inter (only candidates who have discontinued CA and are not currently pursuing the course).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, or with a Chartered Accountancy firm.
• Prior exposure to accounting, taxation, and audit assignments will be an added advantage.
