TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Prevention Specialist to lead infection control efforts in healthcare facilities. This role involves implementing infection prevention protocols, educating staff, and ensuring compliance with health regulations to safeguard patients and healthcare workers. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement infection prevention programs in accordance with CDC and OSHA guidelines
  • Conduct infection control assessments and recommend corrective actions
  • Educate healthcare staff on infection prevention policies and procedures
  • Monitor and report infection outbreaks , ensuring proper containment measures
  • Work collaboratively with hospital administration and regulatory agencies
  • Keep up to date with infection control best practices and emerging threats
  • Maintain accurate infection surveillance data and reports
Qualifications
  • Active RN license in applicable state(s)
  • Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of infection control experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of CDC, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
  • Ability to train and educate staff on infection control measures
