NoteMust have an active New York State Bar license, 8+ years of litigation experience, 4+ years of commercial arbitration experience, and strong motions practice experience. Personal injury defense experience is required, with technology-sector, app-based, or other high-volume defense experience preferred.

Job DescriptionLead commercial arbitration proceedings for technology company clients from inception through resolutionDevelop and execute case strategy in close coordination with clientsHandle arbitration motions, hearings, appeals, and related litigation proceedingsDraft and argue motions to dismiss, motions to compel arbitration, and other dispositive motionsDefend personal injury claims throughout the New York City metropolitan areaHandle a variety of personal injury matters, including claims involving app-based claimants and off-platform incidentsIndependently manage a substantial, high-volume caseloadAnalyze liability, exposure, defenses, and resolution strategiesServe as a primary point of contact for key client accountsMaintain strong client relationships through responsive, strategic legal guidanceSupervise and mentor associates and support staff across assigned mattersCoordinate litigation strategy, deadlines, discovery, hearings, and other case activitiesCollaborate with attorneys across the firm's broader litigation practiceContribute to client development and continued growth of key accounts
QualificationsActive admission to the New York State Bar required8+ years of litigation experience4+ years of commercial arbitration experienceDemonstrated personal injury defense experienceStrong motions practice backgroundExperience drafting and arguing motions to dismiss and motions to compel arbitrationExcellent written and oral advocacy skillsAbility to independently manage a substantial caseloadStrong case strategy, judgment, and problem-solving abilitiesStrong client relationship and communication skillsExperience supervising or mentoring associates and legal support staffNYC metropolitan area location preferred xzbcwsv Technology-sector, app-based, rideshare, transportation, or similarly high-volume defense experience preferred
