Electronic Repair Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electronic Repair Technician to join a growing and innovative Falkirk based organisation specialising in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of complex electronic equipment. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for fault-finding and repairing a wide range of electronic systems, including industrial drives, HMIs, and circuit boards used across multiple industries. Working within a fast-paced technical environment, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality repairs that help customers minimise downtime and keep critical equipment operating efficiently. Key Responsibilities for this Electronic Repair Technician based in Falkirk: Diagnose faults on electronic circuit boards and systems using schematics, circuit diagrams, and component datasheets. Repair electronic equipment by testing, replacing, and reworking faulty components. Carry out board-level repairs, including surface mount and through-hole components. Use soldering irons, hot air rework stations, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment. Perform routine inspection and maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability. Accurately document repair processes, findings, and components replaced. Ensure all work is completed in line with quality standards and safety procedures. Skills
