Test Engineer - BESS

Role Summary Responsible for validation, testing, and commissioning of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at component, pack, and container level. Ensures system performance, safety, and compliance with applicable standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Testing & Validation Develop and execute test plans for: Battery packs (Li-ion, LFP, etc.) BMS (Battery Management System) PCS (Power Conversion System) Complete BESS containers Perform electrical, thermal, functional, and safety testing Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) 2. System Integration Testing Validate interfaces between battery, BMS, PCS, EMS, and SCADA Test communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, Ethernet) Perform charge-discharge cycle testing and efficiency validation 3.
