OverviewA growing healthcare services organization is seeking an experienced Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and strengthen financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity business. Reporting directly to the CFO, this hands-on leadership role will own the monthly close, GAAP-compliant financial reporting, revenue recognition, cash flow analysis, budgeting, and internal controls.The ideal candidate will bring strong controllership experience in a healthcare or similarly complex, multi-payer environment. Experience with healthcare reimbursement, revenue cycle accounting, or EMS is highly relevant. The Controller will also play a key role in systems optimization, M&A accounting, audit management, and developing the accounting team as the organization continues to grow.

ResponsibilitiesOwn monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entitiesEnsure timely, accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements and lender reportingOversee healthcare revenue recognition, contractual allowances, bad debt, and payer-related reservesServe as the primary accounting owner for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralReview journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedulesDevelop weekly cash flow analyses and support liquidity planningLead annual budgeting and forecasting in partnership with operational leaders and the CFOManage financial statement, lender, regulatory, insurance, and payer-related auditsDevelop and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and proceduresSupport M&A accounting, including purchase accounting, fair value assessments, goodwill, and intangible assetsOversee fixed assets, lease accounting, and other technical GAAP mattersPrepare management reporting and financial analysis for executive leadershipLead accounting process improvements and automation initiativesSupervise, mentor, and develop accounting and revenue-cycle personnelRequirements7+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accrual-basis accountingExperience leading multi-entity xzbcwsv monthly and annual close processesHealthcare accounting or reimbursement experience strongly preferredUnderstanding of healthcare revenue recognition and payer reimbursementExperience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferredStrong financial reporting, reconciliation, and cash flow management skillsExperience developing internal controls and accounting policiesExperience managing external financial statement auditsM&A and purchase accounting experience preferredKnowledge of ASC 842 and other technical accounting areasStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams
