Are you a hands-on lab professional with HPLC experience who enjoys solving problems at the bench? A leading global biopharmaceutical company is growing its Bioanalytical group and looking for a Lab Technician III to support routine and non-routine analysis and formulation work.
At a glance Lake County, IL – 100% onsite (local candidates only) Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day (about 80% lab work, 20% desk work)
What you'll doPartner with project leads on routine and non-routine analyses, producing reliable, consistent resultsRun bioanalytical and physical testing, such as SEC, CEX, HIC and RP-HPLC, Karl Fischer, UV/IR/fluorescence spectroscopy, pH, viscosity, density, color/clarity, and visible and sub-visible particle testingTroubleshoot experiments and instrumentationDocument work in an electronic lab notebook (eLN)Learn new experimental techniques as projects evolveKeep the lab clean, safe, and organized, and follow all SOPs, cGMP, and safety policies
Required QualificationsBS or MS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related science with 2-5 years of experience.Hands-on HPLC experience and/or pharmaceutical industry experience (strongly preferred)Solid general lab skills: pipetting, weighing, solution preparationExperience with bioanalytical methods and Empower software
Nice to haveParticle sizing/testing techniques or force tester experienceUV, IR, or fluorescence spectroscopyExperience analyzing and interpreting bioanalytical data and working with project teams
