Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management Administrator to provide operational and administrative support for enterprise endpoint management environments. The resource will be responsible for managing Microsoft Intune, leading GPO-to-Intune migrations, supporting application packaging and deployment activities, and administering Windows patching and endpoint lifecycle management. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, automation expertise, and hands-on experience with modern workplace technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Intune Administration

• Administer and support Microsoft Intune-managed endpoints across Windows, iOS/iPadOS, Android, and macOS platforms.
• Manage device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and endpoint lifecycle activities.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows Autopilot profiles.
• Create and manage Intune Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies, and Endpoint Security Policies.
• Administer BitLocker encryption and Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS).
• Monitor device compliance, application deployment status, and policy adherence.
• Troubleshoot and remediate endpoint management issues.

GPO to Intune Migration

• Assess existing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and identify migration candidates.
• Translate GPO settings into Intune Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies, and Endpoint Security policies.
• Configure and manage ADMX-backed policies in Intune.
• Validate migrated policies through testing and compliance verification.
• Support phased migrations, pilots, coexistence strategies, and post-migration remediation.
• Drive adoption of cloud-based endpoint management best practices.

Application Packaging & Deployment

• Package and deploy Win32 applications through Microsoft Intune Company Portal.
• Manage application assignments, dependencies, version control, and release management.
• Perform application testing, quality assurance, UAT support, and production deployment activities.
• Configure restricted deployments using security groups and collections.
• Troubleshoot application packaging, installation, and deployment issues.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for packaging, deployment, remediation, detection, and uninstall processes.
• Support application compatibility testing for new and upgraded applications.
• Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and end users during deployment activities.
• Monitor deployment success rates and provide status reporting.

Windows Patching & Endpoint Lifecycle Management

• Administer enterprise-wide Windows patching and update management.
• Manage Windows Update for Business (WUfB), Microsoft Autopatch, Intune, and SCCM-based patching solutions.
• Execute patch testing, pilot deployments, validation, and phased rollouts.
• Monitor patch compliance and remediate update failures.
• Manage Windows 10/11 feature updates and operating system lifecycle activities.
• Support endpoint provisioning, reimaging, refresh, device replacement, and asset lifecycle processes.
• Perform proactive monitoring and remediation to maintain endpoint health and security posture.
