We are seeking an experienced Director of Accounting based in Baton Rouge to lead our accounting operations and serve as a key financial partner to the business.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, and related accounting functionsManage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesEnsure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAPOversee inventory accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing variancesMaintain strong internal controls and coordinate external auditsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisPartner with Operations to improve cost controls, inventory accuracy, and manufacturing efficiencyIdentify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and ERP enhancementsLead and develop the accounting team
What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance requiredCPA strongly preferred10+ years of progressive accounting experience5+ years of accounting leadership experienceManufacturing experience requiredStrong experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and U.S. GAAPExperience with ERP systems such as IFS, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similarAdvanced xzbcwsv Excel skillsExperience with conversational AI technologies and applications requiredExperience with agentic AI tools or workflows preferred
