Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant experience to join our Finance & Accounts team. The role will primarily focus on Record-to-Report (R2 R), general ledger accounting, month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The candidate will get exposure to a fast-paced e-commerce business environment and work closely with various internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day R2 R and General Ledger accounting activities. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and accounting adjustments. Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations and ensure timely closure of open items. Assist in preparation and review of P& L and Balance Sheet schedules. Support preparation of monthly financial reports, MIS, and management reporting. Analyse accounting data and identify variances, discrepancies, and unusual transactions. Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries in accordance with Ind AS and applicable accounting policies. Coordinate with internal teams to obtain required information for month-end closing and reporting. Support statutory, internal, and external audit requirements. Assist in improving accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency. Work on finance-related projects and provide business insights and analysis as required. Ensure adherence to defined financial controls, processes, and reporting timelines.

Candidate Profile

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience. Relevant experience in R2 R, General Ledger, Financial Accounting, or Financial Reporting. Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end closing, and reconciliations. Good knowledge of Ind AS and financial reporting. Strong proficiency in MS Excel; experience with SAP/Oracle or other ERP systems will be an advantage. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines. Good communication and stakeholder-management skills
