The team consists of Chartered Accountants, CPAs, ACCA professionals, Xero Certified Advisors, and Quick Books Pro Advisors with extensive experience in accounting and bookkeeping. Digi Numeric delivers services such as accounts preparation, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT/GST/HST/CST, payroll, and taxation, including specialized e-commerce accounting for platforms like Amazon, Shopify, Woo Commerce, and Big Commerce. The team is proficient in major accounting and bookkeeping software including Quick Books Online, Xero, MYOB, Sage, Tally, SAP, Zoho Books, and tax-focused tools such as Tax Calc, Tax Filer, and CCH. Digi Numeric focuses on high-quality, efficient outsourced financial services that help clients streamline their operations and maintain compliance.
Role Description The Accountant (UK) at Digi Numeric is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. The individual in this role will handle UK accounting and compliance tasks, including accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll processing, and support with corporate and individual tax computations. Daily responsibilities include posting and reconciling transactions, preparing management accounts, maintaining accurate ledgers, and ensuring that financial records meet UK accounting and regulatory standards. The role also involves working with cloud-based accounting systems, collaborating with internal teams and UK clients, responding to queries, and assisting in month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accountant is expected to contribute to process improvements, maintain strong documentation, and support senior accountants and managers with reporting and analytics.
Qualifications

Strong UK accounting and bookkeeping skills, including accounts preparation, ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and management accounts. Experience with UK VAT, payroll, and basic taxation processes, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and deadlines. Proficiency in cloud-based accounting tools such as Quick Books Online, Xero, MYOB, Sage, Tally, SAP, Zoho Books, and familiarity with tax software like Tax Calc, Tax Filer, and CCH. Ability to analyze financial data, prepare clear reports, and support budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet strict timelines. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for working with international clients and cross-functional teams. Relevant professional qualification or progress toward CA, ACCA, CPA, or similar, with 2+ years of experience in UK accounting or outsourced accounting services. Comfort working on-site in Ahmedabad, with a collaborative mindset, integrity, and commitment to continuous learning in accounting standards and technology.
