Sales Manager

Position: - Assistant Manager / Manager Corporate – Sales Reporting to: - Senior General Manager – Sales Experience: - 5 years & more in Hotel Sales Education: MBA /Graduate/ Hotel Management or equivalent. Job location: - Saket, New Delhi RESPONSIBLE FOR: Have clear understanding of the hotels business strategies; then set goals and determine action plans to meet goals. Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales. Responsible for contracting with Corporate, MICEs and Travel Agent for the hotel & restaurant sales. Conduct daily sales calls, establish communication, and develop professional long term business relationships with customers/ clients. Provide the highest quality of service to the customers at all time. Participate in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business. Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc. Participate in key industry events that bring national and local exposure. Develop and maintain effective communication channels. Coordinate & communicate with sales and other operating departments of the hotel to assure awareness of booking and sales programs. Preparing daily/ monthly sales report, other reports as required by the Management. Any other responsibility as and when assigned by the management. Desired Skills and Experience Excellent communication skills – oral and written Excellent networking, negotiation and presentation skills required. Must be a skilled leader, have strong organizational skills, and have thorough knowledge and understanding of hotel operations & south Delhi market is must.
