Junior accountant

<p> Our tax consultancy firm is hiring a full-time Accountant to manage GST return filing and reconciliations across our client portfolio. </p> <p> &amp; </p> <p>· Preparing and filing GST returns for multiple clients, including GSTR-1/IFF, GSTR-3 B, CMP-08, and the annual GSTR-9 and GSTR-9 C. </p> <p>· Carrying out reconciliations of GSTR-2 B against the purchase register (ITC), GSTR-1 vs GSTR-3 B vs books, and turnover reconciliation and resolving mismatches. </p> <p>· Computing monthly GST liability, eligible Input Tax Credit, and RCM, and preparing challans for payment. </p> <p>· Maintaining client books and accounting entries in Tally and keeping invoices and supporting records in order. </p> <p>· Coordinating with clients to collect the data, invoices, and details required for timely filing. </p> <p>· Assisting with e-invoicing and e-way bill compliance, GST audits, and data/reconciliation support for notices and departmental requirements. </p> <p>₹20,000 – ₹23,000/- per month (CTC) (based on experience and skill level) </p> <p>· Working knowledge of GST provisions relevant to returns, ITC, and reconciliations. </p> <p>· Hands-on experience with Tally (Prime / ERP 9) and the GST portal. </p> <p>· Strong MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables, for handling reconciliations. </p> <p>· Accuracy, attention to detail, and the discipline to meet recurring deadlines. </p> <p>· Prior experience in GST return filing and reconciliations. Candidates must have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience. </p> <p>· Practical familiarity with Tally and the GST portal is essential. </p> <p>· This is a full-time, in-office position.
