We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Package Engineer to join our Mogden team based in Isleworth, West London.Location: Mogden Sewage Treatment Works, IsleworthHours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.Join us on a major project for Thames Water at Mogden, where you'll play a key role in delivering mechanical engineering solutions across the project. You'll be working in partnership with our supply chain to achieve outstanding results for our client. You will be a stronger professional for working here, and have fun along the way too.What will you be responsible for?As a Senior Mechanical Package Engineer, you'll be working within the Mogden team, supporting them in delivering mechanical aspects of projects within budget and timescales whilst ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental compliance. Your day to day will include:Leading mechanical engineering from inception to completion, liaising with Tier 2 Supply Chain design teams to ensure fully integrated, clash-free designsCollaborating with design partners to ensure CDM compliance and constructability, including check, review and approval of outputsManaging procurement of plant, materials and specialist subcontractors in cooperation with the commercial teamChairing and attending HAZOP events, maintaining design risk registers and compiling final contract documentationMentoring and supporting graduate mechanical engineers, helping them develop their skills and careersWhat are we looking for?This role of Senior Mechanical Package Engineer is great for you if:You have a strong working knowledge of Waste Water Engineering, including key suppliers, capabilities and process equipment designsYou're familiar with access metalwork standards, safe operating principles including EN1090, and can check and review working calculationsYou have demonstrable experience of delivering large Waste Water SchemesYou can effectively lead and manage teams on site, building collaborative relationships across teams, clients and stakeholdersYou hold a Full driving licenceWe're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
