The organisation operates as part of a broader global investment platform while maintaining the independence and integrity of its origination and investment processes. Its multinational team has a substantial international presence, with investment professionals based across Europe, North America and Asia.The firm is seeking an Investment Associate with credit experience to contribute across all stages of the deal process. The role will have responsibility for the initial quantitative and qualitative analysis of credit-focused single assets, portfolios and funds.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalysisEvaluate potential transactions through detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis, including company and sector research.Analyse credit secondaries opportunities independently or alongside senior investment professionals.Conduct due diligence and support deal execution and transaction management.Prepare materials for Investment Committee and other internal meetings.Present investment analysis as required.Liaise with external consultants and advisers.Support the continued development of analytical tools and frameworks for credit secondaries investing.Structuring and ExecutionWork with deal teams and in-house legal counsel on potential opportunitiesAssist with transaction closing and related administration.Post-Investment MonitoringMonitor portfolio performance and respond to requests for action or approval, including proposed changes to fund terms.Prepare returns forecasts, investment commentary and other portfolio information for investor meetings and regular portfolio reviews.Deal Sourcing, Marketing and FundraisingConduct desk research and prepare materials supporting marketing, deal sourcing and fundraising activities.Support and attend external meetings as required.Qualifications and ExperienceEssentialFinancial-services experience, including completion of analyst training or equivalent, in one or more of the following areas:Private equityPrivate credit or direct lendingSpecial situationsStructured creditLiquid loans or high-yield creditLeveraged financeM&A or corporate financeRelevant transactional experience.Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.A solid understanding of fundamental credit underwriting and leveraged-buyout capital structures.Strong financial and business-modelling skills. xzbcwsv DesirableKnowledge of, or a strong interest in, the secondary market for private and alternative assets.
