Job descriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a day shift Mobile HGV Vehicle Technician to join the team based In Leicester covering all the midlands . We are looking for professional vehicle technician to perform a full range of diagnosis, service, maintenance, and repair procedures on a range of HGV vehicles, light commercial vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment, hydraulic lifting decks and tail lifts.You As a team player who takes real pride in their work, you will be prepared to go the extra mile to ensure the job is done effectively.Successful candidates must be fully qualified to at least advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle maintenance & repair or an equivalent qualification) and have proven (via CV) experience of working on a wide range of vehicles for example HGV.We also require you to have a full driving licenceRole & ResponsibilitiesInspections, diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair procedures on a range of HGV vehicle, light commercial vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipmentElectrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installationAccurately record time to complete jobs and associated detailsUse of skills and performance of other work within normal grade/job skills as required .Will have to deal directly with customers. xrexnqw Skills & Experience RequiredExperienced in carrying out all classes of skilled work, involved in the inspection, maintenance and complete overhaul of vehicles and mechanical aids, including mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis, diagnosis fo hydraulic decks and tail lifsFull UK driving licenceHGV inspection, maintenance, and repairStrong customer service skillsGood communication skillsGood attention to detailAbility to work autonomouslyAbility to work within given timeframesDiagnostics skillsFor this role you will be issued:Mobil Service van, fully stocked with all fast moving parts.Fuel cardMobile phone / pdafull uniformWorking days will be:Monday - Friday On Call Rota will be one in every three weeks uptill 10pm weekdays , and all weekend of your on call weekJob Types: Full-time, PermanentJob Type: Full-timePay: £17.00-£25.00 per hourBenefits:
