Visual Designer

The ideal candidate must be passionate about branding and design and have the ability to work seamlessly across print and digital. This is a full-time position in our NoMad loft with a competitive salary, benefits package and excellent room for growth. Essential QualificationsStrong portfolio demonstrating visual design aesthetic and critical/conceptual thinkerPassionate about typographySkilled in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and SketchMust work well in a team environmentClose attention to detailStrong verbal and written skillsAn eagerness to learn Visual Designer is needed to perform the following duties: • Logos – Work on Research, conceptualize and design graphic symbols and typography.• Visual identities – Responsible for Research, conceptualize and design graphic symbols and typography for application across business communications.• Mood boards – Conceptualize, design and source images, graphic symbols and typography.• UX/UI – Research best practices and apply to user experience for website design, including navigation and interactive elements• QA on websites – Quality Assurance after coding/development to ensure the website renders well across all browsers and devices• Design digital ads and email template designs – Conceptualize and design online banner advertisements and email campaigns• Animation storyboards – Conceptualize and design the flow of images and content for videos• Print marketing materials – Conceptualize and design any marketing communications that is not distributed digitally• Client presentations – Partake in client meetings and present your work to the client
