Job Description
EducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics, or a Master’s degree in Finance.
Top 3 SkillsSAP proficiency is required.Experience in manufacturing cost accounting.Controlling experience with relevant expertise in product cost accounting.
Key ResponsibilitiesSenior Local Plant Controller with Supply Chain (SC) controlling activities for two manufacturing sites.Participate in monthly Period End Closing, in support of the local Finance & Administration (F&A) team.Analyze and comment on the COGS variances of the plant in accordance with Group Controlling and Financial procedures.Produce and analyze reporting and scorecards for the plants in accordance with Group and Financial procedures, including cost-per-kilogram metrics.Support and challenge local supply chain teams in performance measurement, management reviews, cost reduction, working capital optimization, and investment decisions.Contribute to building performance improvement action plans and follow up on their implementation and achievement.Participate in the quarterly latest estimate and annual budget processes for the plants.Review and set annual standard costs and ensure compliance with the Standard Rules & Guidelines for standard costing.Lead all costing and inventory management activities together with local supply chain management, F&A, and other Controllers.Participate in Control and Audit activities led by F&A and develop High Level Control activities to strengthen Internal Control Systems (ICS).Aspire to be the “single point of contact” for the Plant management team, providing the necessary business support in all aspects of supply chain-related activities, such as expense management, investments/divestments (CAPEX), working capital optimization, cost savings, productivity improvements, and other local initiatives and strategies.
